Alistair Anderson has been at the forefront of traditional music for over 30 years.
Internationally acknowledged as the master of the English Concertina, he has appeared on TV, radio and concert platforms across the world and has recorded and performed with artists ranging from Kate Bush to the Lindsay String Quartet and from the Northern Sinfonia Orchestra to Nigel Kennedy.
He is also one of the leading performers on the Northumbrian Smallpipes, a much quieter and more subtle sounding type of bagpipe than its better known cousin from north of the border.
